PROJECT FINANCED FROM PUBLIC ALLOCATED FUNDS

Compensation for additional freight costs linked to the outermost periphery

HSE, like all industries established in the outermost territories of the European Union, must face numerous challenges linked to its geographical remoteness and its insularity..

In order to compensate for the additional costs linked to structural handicaps resulting from ultra-peripherality and insularity, the operational program of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) finances freight aid which aims to compensate part of the additional transport costs. (transport expenses including insurance, handling costs and temporary storage before removal) of raw materials and intermediate products from the EU in order to reduce our unit supply costs.

This aid is fundamental in order to ensure the competitiveness of local businesses and limit additional product costs.
